How Do I Get Connected?

Living Hope might seem like an intimidating place at first. Our vision is to create community, and one problem a strong community creates is that a lot of us strong relationships already exist. How’s a new person supposed to get connected when there are so many connections already established? From our perspective as members of LHC, we do try to approach and involve new attendees. However, we don’t want to be overbearing; we want you to feel comfortable to get connected at your own pace. So, we try to provide opportunities for just that sort of thing, you can get connected wherever and whenever you feel comfortable.

The best ways to get connected at Living Hope are:

  • Fill out a guest card or contact us online – The guest cards can be found in the back of the chairs in the auditorium, and there should also be some on the information table in the atrium. Drop the card in the offering plate, and someone will contact you so you can find out more about LHC, and also help you get plugged in You can also request more information via our Contact Us page.

  • Care groups – Care groups are small groups of families and individuals that meet a couple times a month, usually in a home setting and typically on Sunday afternoons or evenings. Other than our worship services, care groups are the most popular ministry here at LHC. Care groups have proven very effective at creating authentic relationships and also providing significant support in times of need. If you talk to many care group members, you will find that in addition to the relationship building, care groups are where they have experienced significant spiritual growth. If you are interested in joining a care group, please contact us, and we will help you find a group where you’ll feel comfortable.

  • Other ministries – There are many other ministry opportunities available at LHC. See our Get Connected section of the website for more details and contact information on each of these ministries.

  • Volunteering – While you’re probably not ready to jump right into volunteering right away, it is a great way to get connected to others as well as encourage your spiritual growth in new ways. When you’re ready to contribute to a ministry, check out our Get Involved section of the website for details on how to participate in our ministries and behind-the-scenes activities.
