One of the greatest ways to put our faith into action by touching people's lives in service to them and our community. On June 19-21, we took an opportunity to go out into the Fox Lake community to demonstrate the love of Christ by serving. By doing this, we carried on the example He set as He healed the sick and washed the disciple's feet.
We got a lot accomplished in just a short time with this project! We were rewarded in many ways: seeing the joy on the faces of those we helped, knowing we added value to the community, and also some great letters and newspaper articles in response to our efforts!
