Values
When defining Living Hope (or LHC, as you’re welcome to call us), it is important to start with our values of “In Christ: Be Real, Be Free, Be United, and Be Involved.” Our values define who we are at the core. We used these four values to develop our vision for Living Hope. Check out our values page for an explanation of each./p>
Vision
Next, it is probably most helpful to look at the Vision statement of LHC. In 2007, as we transitioned into our very own building, we reflected on our identity. In addition to defining our values, we adopted a vision statement to complement our existing mission statement. In order to reach our vision, we also added a strategy to get there and some guidelines for measuring progress along the way. Check out vision page for more information.
Mission
Last, but definitely not least, check out the mission statement of LHC, which was developed during the birth of our church in 1993. It has served as a blueprint for building our church on a solid foundation. Our mission statement has three main aspects of Worship, Body Life, and Ministry. These three aspects are like the legs of a three-legged stool. In order for us to "succeed", we must continue to build a church that has all three legs of the stool. Check out the mission page to view the full mission statement.
